Welcome to Cal Bisbe, a charming rural house located in the heart of Alt Empordà (Gerona), in the small hamlet of La Vila d'Avall, within the wine-growing municipality of Capmany. Passed down through three generations, this village house has been carefully restored to preserve its authentic character, blending tradition and comfort to offer you an unforgettable stay.
Cal Bisbe can be rented as a whole or on separate floors and can accommodate up to 7 guests. Distributed on two independent floors connected by an outdoor staircase, it has two double bedrooms, one triple bedroom, two bathrooms, two fully equipped kitchens, and two living rooms with fireplaces. In addition, all the rooms have heating, air conditioning and free Wi-fi. The outdoor spaces are designed for relaxation: a large terrace, a porch with an outdoor dining area and a garden with a private pool. You'll also find a wooden pergola with a chill-out area and a barbecue, fully equipped for enjoying outdoor meals.
Nestled in a peaceful setting surrounded by farmland, vineyards, olive groves, and cork oak forests, Cal Bisbe is the perfect starting point to discover the beauty of Empordà. Just 15 minutes from Figueres, you can visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum, and in 30 minutes, you’ll reach the beaches of the Costa Brava. The area offers plenty of activities, from hiking and cycling routes to visiting the wineries of the DO Empordà, where you can taste excellent wines.
