La Posada de Caseres

La Posada de Caseres is a charming rural house located in the center of the small and peaceful village of Caseres, situated in the Algars River Valley (partial nature reserve). La Posada is the ideal place to discover the region of Terra Alta, Terres de l'Ebre, as well as Matarranya, Baix Aragó, and Alcanyís (Motorland). The house dates back to 1928 and has been completely restored to offer all modern comforts while preserving its original charm. The aroma of wine is unmistakable in the house. The rural house consists of three floors. On the ground floor, there is a large entrance where the staircase leads to the first floor. Below the first floor, there is a barn that was used when there were horses. There is also a large space that used to be the old stables, which we have converted into a dry wood storage area for our guests to store bicycles or other items they bring on their vacations. At the back of the house, in the coolest spot, there is a cellar where we keep our oldest wine in oak barrels. On the first floor, there is the dining room and living room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, etc. There is also one of the double bedrooms and a complete bathroom with a bathtub. The second floor stands out for the slope of its roof. On this floor, there is the triple bedroom, which has a complete bathroom with a shower. There is also a utility room equipped with a washing machine and iron, as well as a terrace. The rural house has a capacity for 5 people, but it can also be rented for 4 or 2 people. According to the needs of our travelers, we have a crib for children and an additional bed. We offer the possibility of bringing dinner to the house and tasting the best wines from the Terra Alta Designation of Origin.
