the new owners are super kind and helpful. I would give them 10 stars on service. it super quiet and you can hear the river from your room. it was super calming

We had a great weekend at the house of Sra. Celia. It's an old property and you get thrown back in time a little bit which had it's charm to us. The swimming pool gave us a 1970's vibe and we had it almost all to ourselves 😄. If you are a person looking for luxury and everything perfectly arranged, this place is not for you. My partner and I really love everything old school and love the back-to-basics and that's what we got. We had fun and our little baby son also had an amazing time, I could tell by the not crying and many laughs! It's close to St. Julia de Vilatorta which is a cute and beautiful little village where you can go for food, drinks or to enjoy the old and beautiful architecture. Madame Celia is super friendly and nice, so I do not understand and neither will I agree with the negative comments of other reviewers about her. We must respect that she is not the youngest anymore, doing this all by herself and trying to make the best out of it and we received a good treatment! She is also trying to renovate the property little by little, but once you see how big it is, you will understand it's not an easy task! ☺️ Appreciation for the little things is what you have to keep in mind when you book here! We go back soon, because we loved every minute there.

this really looks like a horror movie set. The location is out in the middle of a highway, the house was all dark, very dirty and had an air of abandonment. There is also no staff available, there was no hot water to take a shower and the “employees” hide so as not to talk to the guests. And the place works as a kind of alternative community, I would never go back and I don't recommend it, unless you want to shoot a horror movie

This is a very nice place. Need some renovation, but love from first sight

The place is very quiet, but is in great need of reburbishing. The cups and dishes were dirty, and most of the kitchen was very decadent. Also, we had several misunderstandings with the lady running the place, which lead into serious discussions (she was telling us how to cook our food, and treating us as if we knew nothing about running the house)
