Casa Vilaspasa

The village of Gotarta is located at an altitude of 1,195 meters, surrounded by small agricultural villages, and 4.6 km from Pont de Suert, in Alta Ribagorça. It was inhabited by only one person for more than 15 years in a semi-abandoned state, and currently it has been repopulated with 40 residents. Casa Vilaspasa dates back to 1887 and was dedicated to agriculture. The renovation began in 2005. The points of interest that have been preserved include the bread oven, pantry and cellar, and the first floor of the house where the fireplace is located in its original structure. There is also the threshing floor, where the animals were kept and the grain was threshed. On the first floor, there is a living room with a fireplace, a TV lounge, and an outdoor terrace with views, where you can have breakfast and dinner if the weather permits. The second floor has three double rooms with bathrooms and views, and a triple room with two separate rooms and a shared bathroom. You can also enjoy the threshing floor next to the church for a peaceful time, reading, or resting. The kitchen is fully prepared with local products. Children over 12 years old are welcome. Pets are allowed upon prior consultation.
