Cal Xamora

Cal Xamora, is the name that the house has been known since it was first recorded in 1850. It is located on the main street of the town of Biosca, in the north of the Segarra region. It is a village house that enjoys the advantages of easy access, a shop and a restaurant very close by, but at the same time allows you to enjoy all the peace and tranquility of this region. The first records of the town of Biosca date back to 1031. Currently, it has approximately 142 inhabitants. It is a quiet town located at the foot of a hill with a lot of history and a beautiful old town that was enclosed by the walls that descended from the castle, a medieval fortification. It is worth noting the excellent communication that the town currently enjoys thanks to the new roads that connect it with Solsona (25 minutes), Manresa (30 minutes), Andorra (1 hour), and Barcelona (1 hour and fifteen minutes), among others. The house has been owned by the Forn family since 1850, when it was inherited by an heiress. The reputation of Xamora comes from Xamós, a grace that means beautiful, which is related to the wonderful views of the Riubregós valley that can be enjoyed from many places in the house, as well as the coast of Les Forques and the authentic landscape of the region.
