The hospitality service has always been closely linked to Benedictine monastic communities and, in the past, it has even had an important social function. Poblet opens the doors to its external hostel, inaugurated in 2010, built precisely on the same site where the old hospital for the poor and pilgrims stood in the 13th century. Our Poblet hostel is an avant-garde building equipped with alternative energies that complements the Monastery in providing quality accommodation for those who are not satisfied with just a one-hour visit, offering the opportunity to experience spirituality and the immense cultural and historical heritage that can be felt in Poblet. Surrounded by this monastic calm and in the midst of the austerity of the Mediterranean countryside, it is nice to stay and live a few days away from the urban hustle and bustle and the turbulent times we live in. The hostel has 42 perfectly equipped, modern, and elegant rooms in a line of simplicity and sobriety. Practical design, with noble woods and high-quality details such as its ecological showers. There is no television in the rooms, with the views and a good book, nothing else is needed. We also have meeting rooms with different capacities. We will highlight the Palau d'Abad, a completely renovated historic building with a capacity for groups of up to 150 people.
