Hostal Restaurant Alt Pirineu

Hostal Alt Pirineu is a small mountain hostel with a restaurant. We are in Baro, next to the most famous river in the entire region, where you can practice sports such as rafting or fishing. Next to the hostel, we have the Ruta dels Santuaris, a beautiful excursion that will take you to the village of Gerri de la Sal, famous for its beauty and monastery. There is also the Salt Museum and the Saltworks. We are very close to Sort (5 minutes by car), the capital of the region where, in addition to many services, there is the famous Lottery Administration l'Bruixa D'or. Most people who stay with us take advantage of their days to visit the Aigüestortes National Park, the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, do adventure sports, fishing or hiking. Our hostel has 6 rooms, 3 of them are family rooms. All of them have a TV and a private bathroom. The mattresses are made of memory foam and part of the furniture was renovated in 2014. In our hostel, you will find a family atmosphere in the heart of the Pyrenees. Additionally, if you feel like it, you can hire meals since our restaurant offers different types of menus to suit your needs. We also have a terrace that in summer or on sunny days will allow us to enjoy the sound of the river and the tranquility of Baro, especially enjoying summer dinners outdoors! There is a living room perfect for children as we have different things to entertain them for a while, such as books, toys, and a Wii console.
