Casa Rural Xuriguera de Salsellas

The Xuriguera de Salsellas farmhouse is a secluded house, built at the end of the 18th century, which is part of the private estate of the Serra de Salsellas, spanning over 200 hectares. Between 2003 and 2004, the Vila Puigcercós family, the current owners with roots in the Borredà area, rebuilt the Xuriguera de Salsellas farmhouse from scratch and conditioned it for rural tourism, within the Independent Rural Accommodation (ARI) category. The rehabilitation of the house has been carried out following functionality and comfort schemes. A swimming pool has been added and the typology of a rural house has been preserved: stone walls, wooden beams, fireplace, etc. Xuriguera de Salsellas has a capacity for 13 people, distributed in six double rooms plus one single room adapted for disabled guests, all of them exterior. The house has two independent bathrooms on the ground floor and 3 more bathrooms on the first floor (one for every two rooms). The room adapted for disabled guests also has its own adapted bathroom. The house is especially suitable for families, groups of friends, or company executives who are looking for a place to disconnect from noise and tension and connect with nature for a few days.
