Welcome to Verges! You are in the heart of Empordà, in a 12th-century house that is part of the Verges Castle. We wanted to give this place full of history the comfort of a vacation home combined with the expression of our artistic sensitivity. You are 35 minutes away from Girona (by car or bus from the central station of Girona). Figueres and the Dalí Museum are 30 minutes away by car. It will take 1 hour to get to Cadaqués, Port Lligat (Dalí's house that can be visited). From Barcelona: 40 minutes by TGV to Girona, approximately 2 hours by bus. Colors are omnipresent, lighting moods are striking. The house, about 300 m2, former residence of the local nobility, heritage of the Middle Ages, will be your place of residence. On the seaside, if you like wide sandy beaches or small coves with crystal-clear waters, all options are available here. The entrance to the house is Carrer Portal, under the small bridge embedded with a virgin, which connects both sides of the alley. The turquoise-colored staircase takes you up to the living room with a golden ceiling. A place for coexistence or rest... It has 3 floors. The living room distributes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each room has its own decoration mixing colors, lights, cultural or religious decorative objects. The orange stairs will allow you to access the kitchen and dining room, which open onto the large terrace suitable for sunbathing, family lunches, and dinners in peace. The second panoramic terrace accessible from a last staircase. It is the ideal place to admire the surrounding landscape, up to the Pyrenees, sunrises/sunsets, the starry sky, and the huge variations of sky colors. We have 4 cats at home. Beware of allergies!
