Casa Mestres

At Casa Mestres we are a family of farmers with 600 years of history in Vilamajor, one of the five urban centers in the municipality of Pujalt (Anoia, Barcelona). The accommodations at Casa Mestres were originally a barn, dating back to before 1850, and a small rabbit farm annex, located on the outskirts of Vilamajor, from which the new ancestral home of the family was built. We have rehabilitated the two premises, creating two rural apartments that inherit their names: La Pallissa and El Coniller. They have everything you need for a captivating stay. The family's agricultural operation is dedicated to dry cereal cultivation, and recently we have also started cultivating a variety of local chickpeas: the Cigronet de l'Alta Anoia. We also take care of a breeding and fattening farm for partridges and nursing cows. The two independent apartments have all the comforts both inside and outside, and are sunny all day long, surrounded by nature. They can be rented together or separately. They have extra beds and cribs, as well as a spacious patio with barbecue and Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed. La Pallissa (5 places) Dining room with fireplace, outdoor terrace, and fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It also has a washing machine. 2 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 single room with a bathroom outside. All bathrooms are complete. El Coniller (5 places) Spacious dining room with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It also has a washing machine. The exteriors and all the accommodations are fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. 1 double room with an adapted bathroom, 1 double room with a bathroom, and 1 single room with a bathroom outside. All bathrooms are complete.
