Can Dou

Can Dou is located in a privileged location in Garrotxa, Girona, next to the urban center of les Planes d'Hostoles. Can Dou is a set of two rural houses that are rented separately: the farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, and the Antic Estable built in the mid-20th century. Both buildings were restored in 2009, adapting them to current needs with a minimalist and integrative design. The farmhouse is arranged on two floors. On the ground floor there is the dining room-kitchen, the living room with fireplace, a bathroom, a double bedroom, and a second bedroom with bunk beds. On the upper floor there is another bathroom and a large room that gives access to two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds. The Masia can accommodate up to 10 people: 3 double beds + 2 bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, etc... Next to the Masia is the old stable, which has been converted into a refuge. A single space integrates the uses of bedroom, living room, and dining room. Life revolves around the pergola located under a walnut tree and a fir tree. From the pergola, we have a fantastic view of the Hostoles valley. The old stable can accommodate 4 people, ideal for families, as it has a double bed and a sofa bed in the common area, in addition to the kitchen and bathroom spaces.
