Can Calic is a small Catalan farmhouse, located in a privileged environment in a neighborhood of 3 houses, 2 km from the municipality of Navata and 2 km from Lladó. The origins of Can Calic date back to 1783, the year it was built. Its activity was based on farming and small livestock, but over the years, the activity declined until it was abandoned. In 1982, Can Calic was purchased and restored with the aim of providing a place to relax and escape from the city, enjoy nature and country life, and above all, a place where children can enjoy rural and countryside experiences. The house: Can Calic is a cozy and romantic farmhouse, with all the comforts of modern life while preserving the charm of an old house. It is located amidst cultivated fields and forests, with splendid views of the Empordà plain, Canigó, and Albera. It consists of the old part where we can find a stable and a cellar with Catalan vault, where the grape press is still preserved, the rooms, the original kitchen with bread oven and fireplace, and the restored bathroom with Bisbal ceramics. Two rooms, one suite with a double bed and a small terrace, and another with two beds. On the upper floor, there are three rooms, one of which is a suite with a double bed and magnificent views of the Empordà plain, one with a double bed and a dressing room. In the restored part, there is a large library room with spectacular views of the Empordà and Albera. TV, games, books, DVDs, and movies are available. On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen-dining room with a fireplace and a pantry. Outside, we have a porch where we can spend time and eat, with garden furniture and a barbecue.
