Can Barrera

Can Barrera is a 17th-18th century farmhouse, located in Pla de l'Estany. It was restored in 2002, respecting the original architecture and elements of the time. It is a large house with two separate entrances. At the bottom, we live, we are a family with three children. The two upper floors are intended for rural accommodation, consisting of 4 rooms with bathroom, a game room, kitchen and dining room. On the 1st floor, we find a hall with tables, armchairs, books and information about the area (routes, maps, activities...). There is also a quadruple room with a full bathroom. In addition, there is the kitchen (fully equipped: dishwasher, washer-dryer, toaster, sandwich maker, microwave...), the dining room and the TV room. The fireplace and a common bathroom. The entire floor has wifi. Going up the stairs on the right, we have two double rooms with bathrooms. On the left, the game room with billiards, darts, cards, board games, children's games and a fireplace... The room has armchairs and a sofa. There is also a triple room with a bathroom. The house has a crib and high chairs. A bike lane surrounds the house, except for the side where the Matamors river passes. 50 meters from the main door there is a pool with the old washhouse. Hiking can also be practiced following the indicated routes. The house has a small soccer field and an outdoor children's play area (wooden house, slide...). Outside there are chickens, a horse, a pony, cats and dogs. Barbecues and beautiful garden. It is ideal for travelers looking for tranquility and at the same time want to be well connected, there are very good roads. 1km away we find supermarkets and 3km away is the Banyoles lake.
