Cal Grapisso

The Cal Grapisso farmhouse, originally a fortified house from the 12th century, has been restored while preserving original elements of the ancient fortification. It is located in Vilates, a small hamlet 2.5 km from the town of Llacuna. Its altitude is about 650 m, and it is approximately 75 km from Barcelona and 45 km from the beaches of Sitges. It has 4 double rooms and one for 4 people, with an extra bed, with a capacity of 10 to 12 people. Each room has a full bathroom with a hydromassage, a dining room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a dryer, central heating, and outside, a swimming pool, barbecue, pergola, mountain bikes, paella pan, table, petanque, swings, slide, etc. The municipality of Llacuna has around 850 inhabitants and has an agricultural tradition. Its numerous springs, lush forests, and wide plains make it very suitable for hiking, excursions, or simple family walks. Its dry and mild microclimate is pleasant for visitors at any time of the year. In its streets, you can appreciate the medieval origin of the population, with a beautiful arcaded square, one of the most beautiful in Catalonia, and preserving the ancient access gates to the walled enclosure. It has all the necessary commercial facilities (shops, restaurants, bars), as well as healthcare facilities (pharmacy, doctor, nursing, firefighters, religious services, etc.). The artisanal sausage production establishments and gastronomy are particularly noteworthy.
