Hotel Monells Summum

Marta and Erik have created a really special boutique experience at Summum. From the moment you are welcomed to the hotel, all the fine details (wonderful smells everywhere you go, candles lit in the afternoon) have been considered. The building itself is a restored old medieval house and has been done so with class. The bedrooms are very comfortable, I have never slept so well! As for cleanliness the hotel is impeccable. What makes the experience so special is the family feeling, that Erik and Marta want you to feel at home. It makes.forma wonderful rest.

Perfect place to relax, enjoy the Empordà and do some bike riding. The hotel is brand new, nicely designed and executed, and super clean. Marta, the owner, has helped us throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok. We did a massage with Jussi, who is incredibly good at taking out the back pain from the bike! What we liked the most was the breakfast. It is a buffet made from a cautiously curated selection of local food such as jamon, embutidos, cheese, croissants, ... Everything accompanied by a nice coffee and natural orange juice, and finished with a fruit mix. I hope I can repeat at least a weekend here every year!

Everything 🔝🔝🔝. We are locals and must say that this hotel is something: super quiet, you feel alone, super clean, the service is just awesome, worth the money!!!! 100% recommended, we will come back!

Marta was the best host ever and the boutique hotel itself a beautiful little jewel with am amazing attention to detail.

Heaven on earth, best hotel I ever visited. Fantastic breakfast, very clean rooms and a marvelous service of Marta and her team. This is as close to heaven I will ever get :-)
