Welcome! This property is a modernist house from 1914, which has been restored to adapt to modern needs while maintaining its original features. The house is located in the town of Viladrau, a quiet city situated in the Montseny Natural Park, famous for its water sources and forest. The town has fantastic local restaurants with traditional Catalan food, bars, and supermarkets. Viladrau is located 50 km (40 miles) from Girona Airport and 80 km (1 hour and 10 minutes) from Barcelona. On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen with a large living room, a dining room, and a corner with a fireplace that overlooks the gardens and mountains. There is also a double room in this apartment, ideal for people with difficulty climbing stairs. On the ground floor there is also an office for those who need a quiet space to work. The house has a total of 9 rooms and 12 beds (2 singles + 3 single doubles + 4 doubles), allowing a capacity of up to 16 people. As mentioned, one of our double rooms is located on the ground floor, this is an ideal room for clients with difficulties climbing stairs. All other rooms are distributed across the 1st and 2nd floors. Some of the rooms with single beds can be prepared as double beds upon special request. There is also 1 bathroom on the ground floor (in the office located next to the ground floor bedroom), 3 bathrooms on the 1st floor, 1 on the 2nd floor, and another on the garden level (basement). Outside, you will find a comfortable elevated terrace next to the kitchen entrance that offers views of the gardens, the pool, and the mountains, ideal for those summer outdoor barbecues. On the lower exterior level of the house, you will find the sunbathing area, the garden, and the pool. Three sides of the exterior area of the house are surrounded by vegetation, providing a relaxing and private atmosphere for those enjoying the pool and sunbathing area, while the front of the house and the entrance are at street level. The property is rented in its entirety, regardless of the number of guests (Maximum 16). Our housekeeper will welcome you and check you in. The property is just a 5-minute walk from the center of Viladrau. Viladrau is a peaceful town where you can find a variety of local restaurants to taste some Catalan food and dishes.
