Cal Masiu

Cal Masiu is located in the center of the historic town of Riudecanyes, right at the beginning of Dilluns street. The original construction of the house dates back to the 18th century, although renovations have been made over time, the most important of which would have taken place between 1910 and 1920. Cal Masiu used to be the typical house of a peasant family in the town. The ground floor still preserves parts of a stable and a cellar. On the first floor, there were the bedrooms and the main rooms, and in the attic, part of the harvest was stored, and there was even a small courtyard for birds and rabbits. Today we offer you five bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, an attic-living room, two bathrooms, a cellar, a rustic dining room, and a library. The renovated interiors breathe the air of highly lived spaces, resulting from the mix of the old and the modern. We wanted Cal Masiu to be a comfortable place. A pleasant space that makes you feel good and at ease for those who visit us, while preserving as much as possible the original layout of the house.
