Casa Rural Avi Ramon is located in an idyllic rural and peaceful environment, but within a radius of about 35 km, you will find all the gastronomy, leisure, and culture of the regions of Tarragona. It is a house located in the center of the municipality of Montferri, which underwent a deep rehabilitation to adapt it to the habitability and comfort needs that correspond to the demands of our days. It is rented as a whole house. In line with the region, the house used to produce its own wine; currently, after the restoration, the cups or containers where its fermentation took place have been preserved under a glass thickness, as well as the press, barrels, and some tools specific to these trades. Continuing on this same ground floor, we will reach the outdoor patio. Formerly, this part of the house was a sheep pen, as Grandfather Ramon's main profession was a shepherd. Still attached to a wall, there is a drinking trough (drinking trough for animals). With the restoration, a covered gallery has been created that leads to the patio/garden, suitable for multiple uses depending on the weather and the preferences of the house's inhabitants. It is suitable for a dinner near the barbecue fire, as well as for games of ping pong or chess, cards, monopoly, etc., at this time when some do not take a nap. The barbecue is newly built and for the enjoyment of those who like grilled food, Casa Rural Avi Ramon can provide, upon request, packs of selected firewood and/or bags of charcoal. As always, the fireplace, whether day or night, will stand out as the protagonist, turning any meal into a celebration. From this very garden, you can go up to the large sunny terrace that connects directly to the kitchen and dining room of the house. If, on the other hand, we choose to go up through the interior of the house, we will see that the central staircase that connects the three floors has natural light thanks to a large skylight located on the roof. Upon reaching this first floor, we will find a hallway that gives access to the kitchen, dining room, one of the bedrooms, and also two WC services, one complete and another auxiliary. The beautiful and well-lit kitchen, fully equipped, has a window and a glass door to the large terrace, preserving the wooden beams of the original house. Adjacent to the kitchen is the large dining room, decorated with furniture from the era and with more than enough capacity for the total capacity of the house. From the dining room you can access one of the bedrooms which has a balcony overlooking the main street of the village and its slender bell tower. The second bedroom, also located on this same floor, also has a balcony overlooking the same street. On the other hand, the dining room is connected, through a large window, to the terrace, very sunny and with good views where you can enjoy, some days, the reddish sunsets. From the hallway, you go up to the second floor, which was formerly called the attic, and it is the space that has undergone the most radical change in the whole house. Only the thickness of its walls and the large windows testify to the past when, in these rooms, the fruits or products typical of a farmhouse were stored: the hazelnuts spread out for drying, the hanging tomatoes, the jars of oil, the derivatives of the pig slaughter, etc. Currently, on the second floor, we will find the third bedroom with a double bed and another single extra bed. On this floor, there is another completely new bathroom equipped with a washing machine. We will also find an open space of about 40m2 with a park floor and a wall with mirrors suitable for various activities, such as practicing and/or rehearsing dances, as a children's play area, etc. The appearance of this second floor is really different from what it used to be, now being a modern, cozy and comfortable space ideal for enjoying a few days of disconnection and rest.
