Camping Ripollès

We stayed in this sustainable camping for two nights as a family of 3 (couple and a kid of 6) at the end of March. Despite it was cold outside, the extra clean luxury lodge (bungalow suite) was nice and warm, with hot high pressure shower, bed of 30cm mattress and nice Nordic blanket. Our kid was able to paint mandalas with other kids (so we could make a nap) and we all were able to feed the animals at the camp-free farm they have. We even were able to go biking from Ripoll to Sant Joan de les Abadesses and back on Saturday on a beautiful path of 10km/each way trough forest, a tunnel(1% slope), many bridges... Then on Sunday we went skiing to Vallter (30' away) and still were able to grab something to eat and take a hot shower thanks to the late checkout at 17:00!. I will be back for sure in summer to checkout all the swimming pool and other activities!

Nice place for kids, there’s a little farm and pool installations. Rooms for games and activities. The Xalet is cozy and it’s peaceful and quiet. Furthermore it’s pretty close to the town proper of Camprodon where you have access to supermarkets and stores, plus it’s a quaint and pretty little town.

Very good camping indeed, loved my staying,,, lots of beautiful walks,,, river close by,,, lots of playgrounds,,, a great animal farm for kids too, loved it alot👍
